How are these swingsets made?  As Europe's leading manufacturer of quality children's metal swing sets, KETTLER^® performs several steps that are uncommon in the industry.  They manufacture in-house, rather than purchase, all of the steel tubing. When the tube is formed it is then bathed twice in cleaning fluid to remove any dirt or grease that may have accumulated.  Following the second cleaning process the tube is given a coasting of iron phosphate on the outside and more importantly, on the inside surfaces.  It is this special coating that provides the protection against rust.  Finally, a weatherproof polyester powder coating is applied to the outer surfaces.   

The swings and multi-play feature 2 mm wall thickness, 10 mm diameter safety fasteners for swing boards and L hooks and ropes.  There is also a Safety suspension for glider and gondola accessories, and metal pegs for concreting frames to the ground.
